What we believe

God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Ghost
GFWCI shares and believes God Almighty is another name for God the Father, Genesis 17:1. We believe this name depicts an everlasting covenant, Romans 8:15.
GFWCI believes that Jesus is the Son of God and His name describes the character of the deity of Christ. We believe Jesus is the inspired Word of God the Father, produced into the likeness of humankind, Philippians 2:7, John 14:6.
GFWCI believes the third person of the Holy Trinity through who God acts is the Holy Ghost. He empowers His presence in the Old and New Testament. We believe He is associated with the Father and the Son, 1 John 2:20; John 15:26.

We believe in repentance, conversion, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and redemption.

Repentance

We believe, repentance is a change of mind, remorse, a wrongful act or regret for an act. God's goodness draws repentance. We believe repentance is the work of grace and the foundation from dead works (Romans 2:4).

Conversion

We believe, conversion means to turn to God; to be transformed in character from one condition to the state of another (Acts 4:12). It means to turn from the controlling power of Satan unto God. Grace takes place after the blotting out of sin, repentance, and a change of heart and mind to the presence of God.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the cleansing and Pentecostal Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:4-8). This Pentecostal Baptism can be ordained by sincerely calling upon the name of Jesus with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
(Acts 2:4-5).

Redemption

We believe redemption is the act of paying a price or redeeming to secure back to the rightful owners their loss. This work of grace was Christ's chief purpose for coming into the world (Romans 3:24). We believe in redemption only through the blood of Jesus Christ which is the forgiveness of sin
(Ephesians 1:7; 4:30).

Discipleship

Jesus said to His disciples come follow me. As believers, we continue to raise, rear, and release followers of Jesus Christ. Discipleship is receiving Jesus Christ through confession as your Lord and Savior then continuing in His gospel in your life.
Salvation - Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Commission - Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
